We call them Mother Earth Olives because they are a whole Sicilian style olive in their most natural state. Simply cured and placed in a container with a mild brine.
Whole olives are fully intact olives that haven’t been cut, chopped, or processed beyond curing. Because they’re unbroken, they keep their natural oils, moisture, and aroma inside. Many cooks and olive lovers choose whole olives because they offer maximum freshness and flavor, and they hold up better in dishes like tapenade, salads, and charcuterie boards.
