Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese
makes 1 sandwich
2 tablespoons salted butter, warmed to room temperature
2 teaspoons Gil's Double Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 slices Texas toast
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
2 tablespoons shredded or grated parmesan
In a small bowl, combine butter, oil, garlic, and parsley, stir until blended. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Spread butter mixture over one side of each bread slice. Once the skillet us hot, place one bread slice, butter side down, into the skillet. Top with cheddar and parmesan, then cap with remaining bread slice, butter side up. Toast until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
