Smoky Chipotle Burger
Chipotle Garlic Aioli:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 Gil’s Smoky Chipotle Garlic Cloves, minced
2 teaspoons Pepper Plant Chipotle Sauce
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
1lb. ground beef
4 slices jack cheese
8 thick slices bacon, cooked
1/2 cup guacamole or mashed avocado
4 seeded burger buns, split and toasted
4 thick tomato slices
4 slices red onion, peeled
Place mayonnaise, garlic, chipotle sauce, lime juice, and cilantro in a small bowl, whisk until blended. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat or prep charcoals for a charcoal grill.
Portion ground beef into 4 even patties and hearty season each with salt. Once the grill is hot, add the patties, and cook for 2-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached. When there is approx. 1 minute remaining, top each burger with cheese slices and bacon.
Meanwhile, divide and spread guacamole on the bottom bun. Spread the chipotle garlic aioli over the toasted top buns. Fill the buns with the burger patties, tomato slices, and onion slices. Serve hot.
