
makes 4 hot dogs
Ingredients:
4 large hot dogs
4-8 slices of bacon
3/4 cup The Pepper Plant BBQ Sauce
4 hot dog buns
1/2 yellow onion, peeled and minced
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup pickles, diced or dill pickle relish
drizzle of Gil’s Champagne Jalapeño Mustard
Instructions:
Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
Wrap each hot dog in a slice of bacon (depending on the size of your dogs you may need 2 slices of bacon) and secure with a toothpick.
Brush the wrapped dogs with bbq sauce (reserving a little to baste after they’ve cooked) and grill for 4-5 minutes or until the bacon is crispy. Remove from the grill and brush with the remaining bbq sauce.
Split the hot dog buns if necessary and place hot dogs inside. Top with onion, cheddar and pickles, then drizzle with mustard before serving.
