Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons water
3/4 cup all purpose flour
2/3 cups unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon San Fran Sea Salt, plus extra for sprinkling
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Place granulated sugar, eggs, olive oil, vanilla, and water in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. Whisk on medium until blended. In a separate bowl, place flour, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, chocolate chips, and salt, and stir to combine. Add the dry mix to the wet and whisk to combine creating a thick batter. Spoon the batter into the prepared cake pan and place in the oven. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. Before slicing and serving, generously sprinkle additional sea salt over the top of the brownies.
