Keeping the cocktail train moving, next up is our Gin Sunsetter. A refreshing beverage where we sub out the traditional sour mix for our Dirty Martini Mix. The switch still adds that much needed sour component with a nice little salty bite. Combined with pineapple juice, orange juice, macerated strawberries and gin, this is sure to be one of your new favorites.
makes 2 cocktails
Ingredients:
6-8 strawberries (plus more for garnish)
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1oz. Dirty Martini Mix
1/2oz. lime juice
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup orange juice
4oz. gin
Instructions:
Place strawberries, lime juice, sugar and martini mix in a shaker and muddle until thoroughly mashed. Fill the shaker with crushed ice, pineapple juice, orange juices and gin. Shake to blend. Pour cocktail into tall bar glasses and garnish with strawberries.
