Ingredients:
Salad Dressing:
1 tablespoon Pepper Plant Chipotle Pepper Sauce
1 tablespoon Gil's Maple Balsamic
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup chicken or beef broth
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons Gil’s Double Garlic Olive Oil
Somen Salad:
8oz somen or lo mein noodles, cooked according to the instructions on the package and cooled
1 cup cucumbers, julienne
1 cup radish, julienne
1 cup carrots, julienne
1 cup salad greens
1 cup ham, julienne
1 cup cooked egg, chopped
1/2 cup scallions, chopped
Instructions
Place pepper sauce, balsamic, soy sauce, broth, sesame oil, and olive oil in a medium bowl, whisk to combine the dressing, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
To assemble the salad, place cooked somen noodles, cucumbers, radish, carrots, salad greens, ham, eggs, and scallions on a large platter. Right before serving, drizzle the salad with the dressing.
