Wedge Salad with Smoky Chipotle Ranch

This smoky and slightly spicier steakhouse wedge salad is the ideal side to any grilled steaks or chops. The chipotle pepper-infused brine enhances the homemade ranch dressing adding pops of smoke and heat. Delicious (and perfectly garlicky)!

Serves 4 


Smoky Chipotle Ranch: 

1/2 cup mayonnaise 

1/2 cup sour cream 

1/4 teaspoon San Fran Sea Salt 

Pinch granulated sugar 

1/4 teaspoon onion powder 

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 

2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped 

2 teaspoons fresh scallions, chopped 

Wedge Salad: 

1 head iceberg lettuce, core removed and cut into wedges 

4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped 

1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered 

1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled 

1/4 cup crispy onions 

4 each Gil’s Smoky Chipotle Garlic, thinly sliced 

Pinch of black pepper 

2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped 


To make the dressing, place mayo, sour cream, garlic juice, salt, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, and scallions in a medium bowl, whisk to combine, and refrigerate until ready to use. 

Divide wedges between plates and drizzle with 2-3 tablespoons of dressing. Top salads with bacon, tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, crispy onions, sliced garlic, black pepper, and parsley. Serve with any extra dressing on the side.
