The Ultimate Marinated Olives
This savory combination of roasted red bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh herbs, and capers combined with our Riesling Lemon-Dill Marinated Garlic, California EVOO, and Big Sur Bread Dipper make for a spectacular marinade for our fan-favorite Mother Earth Sicilian Olives.
1/4 cup roasted red bell peppers, diced
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, diced
2 teaspoons Big Sur Bread Dipper Seasoning
1 tablespoon capers, drained
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 (10oz) jar Gil’s Mother Earth Sicilian Olives, drained
Toasted or grilled sourdough bread slices, for dipping and sopping
Place olive oil, red bell peppers, marinated garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, bread dipper, capers, rosemary, thyme, and parsley in a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Add the olives and stir to coat, set aside to marinate for 30 minutes (or refrigerate overnight, just remove the marinated olives 30 minutes before serving). Serve marinated olives with toasted or grilled bread for dipping and sopping.
